Book of the Month

Assessment Methods in Recruitment Selection and PerformanceThe Leadership Pill by Ken Blanchard and Marc Muchnick, published by Pocket Books ISBN 0743483871

We have recommended this book as suggested reading on a number of development programmes we have run. It is a light and refreshing read on the subject of leadership and a helpful reminder of some the key principles.

Management and leadership standards revised

For those of you involved in mapping development programmes against the National Occupational Standards, you will be pleased to know that the revised Management and Leadership standards are now available from the Management Standards Centre (MSC) website, they can be downloaded free from www.management-standards.org
